Dan Rather wants Obama to help save the (liberal) news

Former CBS News anchor Dan Rather (fired for creating a hit peice against bush) has asked Obama to bail out the failing liberal News media.

'I personally encourage the president to establish a White House commission on public media,'

Such a commission on media reform, Rather said, ought to make recommendations on saving journalism jobs and creating new business models to keep news organizations alive.

At stake, he argued, is the very survival of American democracy.


What dan is talking about is one plan where all media would share add revenue and failed magazines could get paid when someone buys a add on fox news.  Dan is worried that the biased liberal newsmen will all get fired because no one wants to listen to them.

Right now big liberal corps are proping up CNN ,MSNBC, CNBC and other newspapers with funds for other sources just so they can puhs the liberal news. But in hard times they may have to stop doing that. The result would be that just like dan says all the liberal biased newsmen will be without a job.

Dan complains no investigating reporting is being done anymore however thats not true look at Acorn the libermedia just doesnt investigate democrats.



What dan is asking for is for the liberal news to be protected at a time when real news media that is not biased is doing just fine and needs no bail out.
